Welcome to On Scene 2008 from...

Regina Police Service

chief hagenFirst responders are often called to situations that require inter-agency coordination and response; however, a gap exists in terms of providing coordinated training for front-line responders. On-Scene fills that gap and provides an opportunity to enhance skills within the context of a unique and exciting learning environment. The Regina Police Service is proud to be a partner agency for this conference.

Assistant Commissioner Darrell McFadyenEmergency services front line personnel are required to respond to dynamic situations, often placing the welfare of others before their own. Continuous training and development is an essential component of their ability to respond to these situations. That is why the RCMP in Saskatchewan is excited to support the Front Line Protective Services Conference coming September 23-26, 2008. The featured speakers and live training scenarios will provide important information and training opportunities to assist front line responders in performing their duties.

fire chief“"At last, here is a united and formalised training and development opportunity for front line responders. The chance to share information, learn from each other and improve the services delivered to our customers is invaluable. This inter-agency approach will allow for a much better understanding of the important roles and services each of us provides. Perhaps more importantly, it ensures our customers receive the absolute best professional help from well-trained emergency service personnel when they need it..”
